The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate my request for a room near an exit to facilitate our bringing our dog in and out.
The facility is older. Cleaning especially of stairwells is poor. There were cigarette butts that were never swept. Behind the building people have thrown trash down an embankment and it is all about the grass areas.
The room itself was clean, good size. There were absolutely no amenities that you’d expect for and extended stay suite like facility. No coffee maker, cups, mugs, utensils, coffee. I returned to the desk and was shown a table card that the clerk pulled from behind her desk that was entitled “complimentary items”. Apparently you must request them. I got a coffee maker, coffee, mugs and coffee. They have no milk or cream. Only non-dairy sweetened creamer.
Breakfast is horrible. Self-retrieved from a tiny room near the check-in desk. Cold package muffins. We passed on that.
The bed was ok. Not the most comfortable.
People were smoking standing on the landing to the entrance doors. I reported it to the clerk as there is a designated smoking area. Didn’t seem to yield any change and the landing was littered with cigarette butts and the entrance to the stairwell constantly smelled of cigarette smoke.
If I’m ever in the area and can’t find anyplace else I guess I would stay here.
Note there is another building at 201 just in front of 205 (where we stayed). Same company etc. Much newer and nicer.
