"The house has a fantastic view. What was not mentioned is that it is literally 97 steps to get to it. When it rains some of the path way is very muddy. One of the wooden steps is not attached. There are chickens and roosters all around which is entertaining except when the roosters start crowing at 2am. "​Our stay at Bocas Paradise Hotel was excellent, primarily due to its unbeatable location. ​The Highlights: ​Prime Location: Being right on the main street of Isla Colon made it incredibly easy to explore the town, find dining options, and soak in the local atmosphere. ​Tour Convenience: If you're planning on doing any excursions, this is the place to be. The boat tours are located right next door, which made our morning departures seamless. ​Atmosphere & Noise: While the hotel is close to the nearby clubs, we found the noise levels to be perfectly manageable. I had packed earplugs just in case after reading previous reviews, but we actually never needed to use them. ​Overall, a great home base for anyone looking to be in the heart of the action in Bocas del Toro!"
