“It’s a beautiful Victorian house, and we stayed on the top floor. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, and the staff and owner were friendly and accommodating.
Upon arrival, we noticed that earplugs were provided, which we quickly realized were necessary. We didn’t realize beforehand that an Amtrak train line was only about 30 yards away. There was also quite a bit of traffic, with trucks and cars speeding by, so it could get fairly noisy at times. The ac units in our room were weak.

“Very rare, Clean old school motel. Nice and quiet. Little deck on the backside was nice to just sit back and listen to the quiet. Ac Units are a little finicky, too many settings and the remotes don't light up at night to make adjustments. Will likely rent a room here again. As we visit Lancaster several times a year”
“I chose it based on the ratings and also looked at other places during my visit. I don't know why this store has such a high rating, it's just average.”
“Love the location. Outlets and retail stores very close by. Been going to this same location since it was Rockvale Inn. Love that Comfort Inn has it now. Very quiet at night and during the day. Nice outdoor pool and Complementary Breakfast is good. I believe they are presently doing some renovation work since I was just there about 2 weeks ago. Great rates as well. Many attractions close by. Look forward to spending many more times here.”
“If you're looking for a five star hotel, this is not it. However, for the price it was wonderful. Centrally located, clean and comfortable. And they cleaned our room every day we were there! Not always done after COVID. The staff and proprietor were so friendly and helpful. We would stay there again when traveling in Lancaster County.”
“Walking distance from shopping area and not too far from activities in the area, such as Sight and Sound, The Amish Experience and Penn Railroad Museum.
Had a pleasant experience with staff and checked in at 2pm without any waiting. Room was mainly clean and towels were changed daily.
Breakfast was continental and available.
Simple and affordable which is what we wanted.”
