Too expensive for what was there. Cost’s were not represented accurately when I booked. Very disappointing. Would not book again.

All the staff were friendly the place is nice

First we arrived and our room was filthy - looks like it had not been cleaned in forever . Visible food on the bathroom floor , thick dust and dirty sheets . They gave us a new room which was “better” still followed by thick layers of dust, better sheets not that clean again oh and then a stopped up sink! We told the staff and left , once we came back it was not fixed . We sat at the bar and it was eventually fixed . The bathroom had mold , black. No exhaust fan was seen - thick dust everywhere . The shower handle was broken ( we told Shannon) and that was not fixed . You could regulate the temp and my husband practically burned himself in the shower . The upstairs deck was pretty exception it was extremely run down and looks like it hasn’t been kept in ages - the same towel was on one of the sofas from Thursday- Sunday. We saw the “house keeping “ and they were a bunch of young teenagers horsing around . Explains why the rooms were clearly not cleaned at all - oh I do want ti add I asked for a deep cleaning and I’m not sure what that means ti them exactly . Maybe it means to vacuum for once ? This was for my husband’s 40th birthday and I picked it based off of the reviews . Then after multiple times contacting expedia and the hotel I was given off 50% for the first night only . Oh and a bottle of champagne and 2 drink vouches. I truly believe this hotel needs to be checked out by the health department and they need a total redo. The photos must be from when it opened .
