RELAX, UNWIND AND RECHARGE IN THE HOT TUB AT THIS MOUNTAIN VIEW COTTAGE

How do you like your mountain views? In the morning with a piping hot cup of coffee or hot chocolate. Enjoying a picnic lunch. Curling up in the afternoon with your favorite book. Or on a cool evening in the hot tub. Any or all of these are available from the gorgeous covered upper deck. This cozy mountain cottage located high on Ivy Log Mountain truly feels like it's miles from civilization, yet you're only minutes away from Blairsville town center. Downtown Blue Ridge is just 20 minutes away. You can be in Ellijay, Hiawasee, or Murphy N.C. in less than 45 minutes. And Dahlonaga and Helen are just an hour away.
When you first enter this cozy mountain cottage, you'll gaze upon the beautiful floor to ceiling stone fireplace, the hardwood floors and vaulted ceilings. The kitchen comes with granite counter tops, refrigerator, microwave, electric stove, coffee pot, toaster oven and all the dishes , pots and pans and utensils you'll need for your stay. Just bring the food you love to eat. Master bedroom with its floor to ceiling tongue and groove woodwork is a restful oasis after a long day of hiking, antiquing or shopping. The main level bathroom has a jetted jacuzzi tub. The loft area has a cozy sleeping area and a full bathroom with a glass and tile shower. The terrace level has an amazing regulation size slate pool table, bonus TV room and laundry with washer and dryer.
Away from the cottage there are hundreds of miles of hiking trails and recreational lakes for boating and kayaking. Meeks Park is Blairsville's hidden treasure. Vogel state park is a short distance away as well as golfing and pickle ball. Antiquing, shopping and restaurants abound. The Sorghum Festival is in October in Meeks Park as well as fall festivals in Ellijay, Dahlonaga, Helen, Blue Ridge , Suches and many others.. Exterior camera located on soffit near front door.

Long-needed vacation
My husband and I have rented several cabins in the Blairsville area. This cottage was, by far, the best one we have ever rented. It is very quiet, close to town, the views are spectacular, it is very clean and beautifully decorated, it had a pool table and a hot tub-what more can you ask for!! The price was very affordable. Also, we did several day trips-Blue Ridge, Bryson City, Nantahala Outdoor Center for rafting and zip lining, and then made it all the way to Cherokee and Gatlinburg. We did not make it to Helen this trip, but it would have been an easy trip, as well. We got home before dark each day. Lastly, the cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated. Granted it was only the two of us, but it was very roomy-3 floors!

The most spectacular views!
The cabin was exactly as it's described in the listing. Me and my wife spent 3 of the most relaxing nights in the hot tub taking in the amazing view. During the day it's mountains and by night time it's city lights. If you enjoy a night on the town but with a retreat with privacy to escape to, this is the perfect spot for you! Look forward to coming back

A lovely cabin in the woods; but minutes from town.
The cabin was exactly as described and wonderfully decorated for Christmas (to our surprise!). Liz and John were wonderful accommodating hosts and the cabin had everything we needed. The grocery store was less than 10 minutes away as well as many places to shop and eat. We enjoyed exploring the area and some of the small towns nearby. We would love to visit the area again in the spring and would highly recommend this home.

Perfect Getaway!
Fantastic property!! The location is perfect - mildly secluded up in the mountain, but a short drive from town for food or shopping. The cottage was fully stocked with everything we needed plus some. We loved sitting on the back porch while enjoying the view, soaking in the hot tub, and watching TV by the fireplace. We will return!

Wonderful Last-minute Weekend Getaway
This was a last minute get away. I wanted to be in a cozy cabin with a great view, but close enough to dining, hiking, and winery’s. This was perfect. It was quiet and peaceful. Very clean. The downstairs has an awesome pool table, wonderful books for reading, and my favorite… a Texas Hold’em Yahtzee game! I feel so lucky to have came across this listing and it be available for the days I wanted to visit. Thank you for sharing your cabin- I can’t wait to visit again!

Amazing views!
The views from this house strike you the moment you step through the front door! Hot tub is nice, kitchen well stocked, the bathrooms are nice, the house was really clean and there were lots of hotel quality touches with the towels and such, felt very professional. Because it's in the mountains, be prepared for a steep driveway and tight spaces for turning around, the price you pay for this tranquilty and those views!

A rainy week with lots of turkey
My son and me had a blast. First time I've had him over night in almost 2 years. It rained a lot. We went over to Andrews N.C. and rode the rail carts. We drove through the mountains of Blairsville and my son took plenty of pictures of wildlife! (Mainly Turkey) I really want to move to Blairsville! Absolutely LOVE the people here! The cabin was awesome! We cooked and played round and round of pool. Enjoyed the hot tub. Thank you for letting us stay in the cabin. The memories he has in pictures will definitely stay with him! Thank You again!

Beautiful Views
Loved spending time on the back porch and its beautiful views of the mountains. Even better than the pictures show. Cottage itself is very comfortable and feels like home. Plenty of books and games available. I came to the area to hike, and did that. But the cottage was so nice I cancelled my plans for one of the days and just had a "cabin day" Read a book on the back porch. Went downstairs and played pool (loved that). Even crawled into the hot tub afterward. Very relaxing. Ended up eating most of my meals out on the back porch, because of the view. Yes, the hill up to the property is pretty steep. But I did figure it out and get comfortable with it. Well worth it for the nice cabin and beautiful views. I would highly recommend a stay here. I left very relaxed!

Perfect Anniversary Getaway!
The View!!! Absolutely amazing! We enjoyed the hot tub and relaxing on the porch. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen stocked with everything we needed. Very short drive into town. We really enjoyed hunting waterfalls and exploring the area. We will most definitely be back.

Beautiful View From the Deck!
The property was exactly as described. Parking and turning around our Dodge Ram was tight on the narrow road which leads to and from the cabin. The only shower was upstairs and we stayed in the entry level bedroom so that was a bit inconvenient. Overall, it was a relaxing stay with gorgeous views of the mountains and wild azaleas. We also enjoyed playing pool downstairs.

Relaxing getaway
My wife and I enjoyed our time away, and this was a great property to stay at. They have a really nice hottub with a great view from the back deck. While this wasn't an issue for us, the upstairs bathroom contains the only shower in the house, and there isn't much privacy for that bathroom from the bedroom in the loft because of glass windows between the bedroom and bathroom. Everything else was really nice though!
