The hotel is very central, however, my room was shabby and in need of refurbishment. I didn't find the staff very helpful in comparison to other places I've stayed, and the hotel amenities weren't explained to me. This is a small thing but there was no hairdryer in the room, on asking at reception, there is a shared one which isn't great if someone else already has it. Breakfast was good and the bed was comfortable. My main concern was access to the hotel as a solo female traveller. It's between two commercial premises and set back from the shopping street, with the hotel above. It's open and quite dark, like being in a subway, until you get the secure door to access the hotel lift and stairs, with reception up on the floor above. I would have preferred to stay somewhere where I felt safer.

Hotel very quaint and boutique feel to it! Clean and enjoyable stay! Centrally located but fairly quiet. Very helpful and friendly staff

Great location and friendly staff. It was probably beautiful and luxurious in the past, it needs some renovation.

Great rooftop bar. Friendly staff. Shame there was some rubbish in the room. The hotel is well maintained
