The room was clean, the customer service was wonderful, and the location was fantastic. Our family would stay there for our next visit to Blowing Rock.

Liked: Property conditions & facilities
The tub in the room we stayed was very slippery and the bathroom floor was a little sticky. easy parking and the property offer plenty of outdoor seating. the check in staff was very friendly and welcoming.
The cabin was wonderful! It was clean, very nicely decorated and parking was very accessible. It was an amazing and wonderful stay to celebrate mine and husbands 20th anniversary!!
It was so quaint, the cabin was adorable. The flowers in the gardens were beautiful . Did not feel like a hotel today.
Only issue, the pillows were too big. I like soft and cuddly.
The Azalea Garden Inn is definitely an older dated establishment and is in a great location if you want to stay near Blowing Rock with a small walk to restaurants and some stores. We had a king bed & it was on the second floor & stairs only. There was a the refrigerator, Keurig coffee and a window air conditioner. Because we stayed in early September the gardens would have been a lot nicer in the spring and summer months.
We have stayed here before. It’s okay. The location is great. The bed was comfortable. I like the 11:00 check out time. Everything was clean. The TV situation was a little sad. No movie channels and not a smart TV. The sheets were scratchy (there soft sheets used to be my favorite thing about this hotel). I don’t like having to check in at a different hotel and they no longer have complementary coffee in the communal space. The garden is no longer maintained and that is just sad. But, it served our needs and we enjoyed Blowing Rock as always.
There was no microwave in the room making it difficult to heat up food. We had to walk to Meadowbrook Inn to use theirs since they are the primary hotel for Azalea Garden Inn.
The water took forever to heat up to take a shower. There are very limited plug in spots for your phone chargers. No one on the property except one maintenance man and one housekeeper. It’s not like it use to be. Grounds not pretty as they use to be either. Everything handled by Meadowbrook Inn; check in and check out.
Parking is good with assigned spot. Bed was comfortable.
This is the cutest place! Our room was spacious and clean. We chose not to have daily housekeeping, but there were plenty of items for our 3 night stay. Highly recommend this place and will be back!
My children loved the grounds, especially the koi pond, and we all appreciated the walkability to restaurants and the town's playground. The staff were exceptionally helpful!
