You need to go hiking on Grandfather Mountain and visit Rocky at Blowing Rock Brewery.

If you're spending some time in Downtown Blowing Rock, Blowing Rock Auditorium and Blowing Rock Memorial Park are top sights worth seeing.

It was beautifully done for the holidays! Our room had a fireplace and was quite large, very cozy! Food was excellent along with the staff! I would stay there again!!

The room was spotless! The staff is amazing! Bed was super comfortable and they had a soaking tub in the bathroom! The location was perfect. Will definitely stay there again!

Blowing Rock has many opportunities to admire the scenery and take pictures. There are many quaint shops and we loved the architecture of the buildings and homes. So many things to see in one trip. We will definitely visit again as soon as possible.
Most restaurants close at 9 p.m. Less than ten minutes away from Boone, which has lots of options.
This is a nice place to visit with outlet shopping and plenty of dining options. It is 15 - 45 minutes to all 3 winter resorts that offer skiing, ice skating and snow tubing.
It is the gateway to the rest of the mountain towns in the area, such as Boone or Banner Elk. The Green Park Inn and Blowing Rock saves us 30-ish minutes both ways, making this a great one-night destination.
