Welcome to 5 Hikes, featuring modern architecture and design set against the best layered mountain and lake views in Blue Ridge.

Whether you plan to enjoy a soak in the hot tub, make s'mores by the fire pit, play pool with family in the game room, or grill at the outdoor kitchen, 5 Hikes gives you panoramic mountain and lake views from its expansive windows and decks.

Located in the highly sought after Aska Adventure Area, 5 Hikes is within two miles of hiking and mountain biking trails and the shops and restaurants of downtown Blue Ridge are just an eight minute drive.

5 Hikes can accommodate up to 12 guests- perfect for your family vacation or a group of friends! Prepare meals in a fully- stocked chef's kitchen that's equipped with everything you need to prepare meals and serve a crowd.

There's plenty of room for everyone to rest in comfort with three master suites with king beds, an additional bedroom with two double beds, a twin bunk room and a queen sized Murphy bed in the loft. Each bedroom has memory foam mattresses, a ceiling fan and a 55" flat screen HD Smart TV.

Downstairs in the game room you'll find a 65" HD Smart TV, gas fireplace, pool table, shuffle board table and large wet bar with full sized refrigerator and freezer. Both living areas open onto the decks for viewing stunning Blue Ridge sunrises and sunsets.

This house is absolutely beautiful with the best views you could ask for. We have rented several properties in Blue Ridge and this by far is 5 stars. Angela (owner) was great with communication and making sure our stay was wonderful! We will be back.

Family Christmas 2024

This was our third stay in Blue Ridge, and this cabin was by far the best. We loved our stay. The views were breathtaking! It was the perfect space and great location. Everything was just as described and pictured. Very tastefully decorated. The welcome basket was most appreciated. Communication with the property owner was very prompt. We'd love to return one day!

Perfect Cabin for a Cozy Friends’ Getaway!

We stayed at this cabin for our annual friend’s trip, and it was absolutely perfect! The house was cozy, well-appointed, and had everything we needed—from a fully stocked kitchen to plenty of extra blankets. The Christmas tree added such a festive touch, making it ideal for our gift exchange and reunion. The hot tub with stunning views was a highlight, and Angela was incredibly responsive and helpful. It truly felt like a home away from home. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and hope to return in the future!

Peaceful and perfect

This is our 2nd stay at 5 Hikes, and it was just as amazing as the first time. There is not a detail missed at this property, we are convinced it's the best place in Blue Ridge. They have paved the road up the mountain and it made the drive so much more relaxing and beautiful! The views are always top notch, and so is the hospitality. We will be back!!

Perfect getaway in the mountains

There was not one corner of this house that wasn’t beautiful! We took so many pictures and videos because it was truly breathtaking views. From early morning sunrises watching from the bar top table on the outside deck or cozying up to the outdoor fireplaces during the sunsets, being in this home all day was magical. We absolutely loved the space for our big family. There were so many fun places the kids could sleep as well. There was endless entertainment from in the house to a quick drive in any direction. We will definitely be back for another beautiful getaway.

Perfect Thanksgiving

Better than the Ritz Carlton

Beautiful new home with stunning views and impeccable furnishings and decor. Extremely clean with abundant high quality linens. Amazing outside porches and fireplaces. Ideal mountain conditions for hiking training. Would prefer to stay here versus a Ritz Carlton. We are already planning our next trip back!

Return to Blue Ridge

Amazing view and house

Our church staff stayed at 5Hikes for 3 nights. Checkin was very easy, the house was immaculate, and the views were amazing! Plenty of room, kitchen well stocked, furniture and beds comfortable, and lots of games available as well as game room and fire pit. Everything was well labeled and communication with host was very prompt. We look forward to coming back!

5 Star 5 Hikes

My family consisted of 8 adults, three children and a baby and all had a memorable stay at 5 Hikes Oct 6-9. The view of the mountains and lake is superb especially from the back deck with fireplace which overlooks the mountains. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice and the dining table was perfect for our large family. The hot tub was a big hit with everyone as well. We hope to plan another trip in the future to stay at the “5 star 5 hikes”.

Family Weekend in the Mountains

We had a wonderful weekend with family at 5 Hikes in Blue Ridge. The view from this house had my Dad taking pictures morning, afternoon, and night every day we were there. Even more beautiful in person! Angela was so responsive with our questions, and her home had everything we could need. The Fall decor with pumpkins on the front steps was such a thoughtful touch. Cannot say enough great things about this property!

This place was the best VRBO experience I've ever had. The owner included all kinds of extras, like snacks, Christmas decorations, plenty of cleaners, paper towels, etc. Plus, the furnishings didn’t feel like leftovers. For example, when we cooked, it didn’t feel like the older, dull set of knives, mismatched cooking utensils, etc. Super great place. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Blue Ridge Home

The pictures do not do this home justice. It’s absolutely stunning! We stayed with our three small children and were very comfortable. Angela thought of everything. It would also be the perfect home for friends. You don’t even need to leave the property. The home was also immaculate. We hope to come back.

Perfect!

We had a wonderful time at 5 hikes! There was a total of 13 of us there (6 adults and 7 kids). Even with a larger group we had plenty of space.Here are my highlights - 1) There’s not a better view in blue ridge. Truly stunning! Great porch set up too with a tv so you can hangout, watch the game, and still enjoy the view. 2) The kitchen was extremely well stocked. Everything you can think of you had access to.3) The beds were incredibly comfortable. This is a big one for me… a bad bed can ruin a vacation so it’s always nice to have a good one.4) Bathrooms were large and very clean. Again, another big one for me. We have 4 kids and so trying to get ready for bed/showers in a small bathroom can be frustrating. Didn’t have to worry about this here! 4) Angela (the host) is great. Super accommodating and great with communication.We will certainly be going back!

Absolutely Stunning

5 Hikes is by far the nicest place we have ever stayed, and Angela was the best Host. I don't know where to start with this review. The pictures do not do the house or the views justice, it is absolutely incredible. Not a single detail was missed in this house. We drove in during a rain storm and it was just getting dark, so the drive in was a bit intimidating for those of us not used to driving in the mountains, but 100% worth it and we became pros shortly after arriving. My family did not want to leave this beautiful place at the end of our stay and we are already taking about when we can come back.
