“Compact but certainly adequate property for 2 adults and 2 children aged 10 and 12. Excellent location for walking to the beach and for traveling the peninsula. Couple of minor downsides - the garden was close but not necessarily convenient, and could do with instructions for the hob but we eventually managed but not mastered it 🤔”

“It is not mobility friendly.it is near the sea not front. Facing.but I use a walker and though I needed to have three bedroom it was not explained that it's not suitable for me and there is no lift I struggled to get to/from attic room with all my luggage but we managed. It was overcome and okay, but not a smooth holiday for us!”

“A remarkable building, but still very much a work in progress Plas Glynllifon is an extraordinary place to stay. The building is genuinely impressive, full of history and character, and staying there feels very different from a conventional hotel. The welcome was friendly, the room was comfortable and breakfast was good. The setting is also excellent for exploring this part of North Wales. “Room is spacious. Toilet is spacious with bathtub. The food was great. Noisy though. We can hear the conversation of people going to their rooms. The floor is noisy when walking.”

“Had a lovely romantic getaway. Swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, gym all literally 10 metres away from the room. Also a great little games room with pool, air hockey, video games, table tennis and much more all free of charge, again opposite the room. Lots of friendly farm animals that you can visit as often as you wish, the hosts are great and nothing is too much trouble for them. We’ll definitely be returning.”

“It was perfect for our stay. Firstly, it was only 5 minutes walk from Harlech Railway station, which was great as we came by train (the ride in along the coast is gorgeous by the way). It is also very convenient for the amazing beach, the wonderful castle & the bustling little town & shops. Our room was clean, quiet & a good size, with a lovely view of the castle. I had the best sleep I've had for a while. The staff were helpful & friendly & gave us good tips about the local area. Also, just……
