"Excellent location, within walking distance of both beach and town. Beautifully landscaped property. Clean, but room for improvement. Cobwebs everywhere. Lots of plates and glasses, but only 7 mugs, most of which were either badly chipped or cracked. Bbq was filthy, apparently hadn’t been cleaned in a long while. A manual explaining how to use the Aga stove would have been helpful. And our inability to control the heat temp locally (it was controlled remotely by the property manager) led to us...

"Lovely property and perfect base to explore north Wales - amazing views of Snowdonia and fields around had hundreds of sheep in. Property was clean and had everything you need. Only negative (if we’re being very picky!) was the water pressure…took an age to run a bath and the electric shower above is not the strongest. The other bathroom with a mixer shower was fine. Overall, would definitely recommend and hopefully will return again in the future!"

"Clean and spacious for us (couple in late 20s). Good kitchen and cooking space with all utensils provided. The beds were comfy too. The sofas were leather and not very comfortable but we tried to be out and about as much as we could. No towels were provided Because of covid so we had to buy some as all of the information said they would be supplied and we didn’t bring any."

"Cosy cottage - perfect for two and a dog. The cottage sits on its own, and has a secure gated driveway, but the added convenience of being just off the main road into Criccieth and Pwllheli, and with a mile walk to the beach. Well equipped in the main, though take your own loo rolls! Booked through Hotels.com but actually through Sykes Cottages, who offered great service on the phone. "Manager on the desk went out of his way to make up for the fact that I 1. Missed breakfast on day 01 as I didn’t realise breakfast was included 2. I didn’t get much sleep on the first night due to a very noisy person above my room late at night & early in the morning. He straight away moved me to a better , bigger double room and got chef to do me a cooked breakfast to go and even. Packed lunch ! Would definitely stay again :) "
