"Lovely place to stay as a base for our holiday. We had the woodland suite with hot tub which all felt very special, the bathroom was especially fancy, and being in the hot tub with all the sparkly lights made such a great end to the day. Shout out to Iwen who served us a delicious breakfast and helped us plan our day with his good local knowledge. "

"The rooms were clean, breakfast very good and all the hotel staff were very friendly. One small negative the was a £10 per night parking charge for the car parking around the hotel which cannot remember seeing when booking"

"Room smelled pungently of mildew. When I told the staff they said they’d have to do a better job of cleaning. We left several days ago and everything in my suitcase, including all my clothes, still have that mildew smell. Quiet setting. Large rooms but had no way to air out except for a tiny window 18x8 that partially opened. Luckily it was cool weather. Pub was cute and food including breakfast was good."

"Kleines, praktisches Hotel mit Ladestation für Elektroautos. Die Zimmer sind zwar klein, aber mit allem was man benötigt. Im hoteleigenen Restaurant gibt es sehr leckeres Essen. Das Frühstücksbuffet hat kalte und warme Speisen, leider ohne Haferflocken, Müesli und/oder Porridge, was schade war. Im Hotel hat es einen Fahrstuhl. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. "

"The hotel was run down, we checked in went to order a meal and was told the only thing left on the menu was a turkey roast dinner. The spa was a joke. the bedroom, had no working bed side lights or phone charging sockets. the TV did not have BBC!!! Not a good stay. I don't know how the room rate was justified, i feel let down as i use Hotel.com all the time and don't expect to find a hotel as bad as this on your web site. Unhappy Stuart"

"Hotel is in a good location, ample parking. It's a stately building fairly well maintained, though the elevator access on floor 1 is hindered by the carpeting that restricts the door from opening. Yes you have to manually open the door to access the 50 + year old elevator and make sure it doesnt swallow any body part when the door closes, very cool. The food in the attached restaurant/ pub was good, though the service was hindered by only 1 person doing everything, hotel check in and restaurant duties."
