"Our family stayed here for the Christmas holiday and it was an amazing time. The property is new, spacious, clean, modern with a cozy feel and offers privacy for outdoor fun. We have stayed many places and the Codax Retreat by far is one of the BEST places we have stayed at. We would highly recommend staying here for anyone looking for comfort and optimal fun with their family. :-) "

"Riverfront view was beautiful, outdoor area was well thought out. Cabin was very clean, furniture in good condition. Amenities did not match the listing description which was frustrating as I would have planned better had I known. DVD player and Xbox a nice addition for rainy nights. Listing wasn't clear that it was a porta potty and no shower source. Owner was very responsive via email, phone call and text. Place has great potential!!"

"We required a handicap accessible room. It was provided and was the most lovely room with plenty of room for all the added equipment, during our stay. We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the room and hallways. We will definitely plan to stay there again. We travel to that area several times a year. This was our first time at the Hampton, but not our last. Very enjoyable stay. Terry and Bev Murphy"
