"The owner has personally built a superb shepherds hut escape . Hut was of the highest standard and thoroughly thought out . Shower was a delight , bed very comfortable. Kitchen well designed in a limited space . This hut has two comfortable chairs to relax in . Wood burning stove was not lite as property was so well insulated . Outside was so well designed, in the summer would be perfect . Close to A30 so some noise which for me was noticed as I live in the countryside without background...

"The Pod was amazing, we don’t think the photos do it justice! We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and would love to visit again. Kevin and Michelle have thought of everything and were excellent with communicating details for directions and check in/out times. The location is brilliant, so close to St Ives and Carbis Bay, and the main bus route is right on the main road. Would highly recommend to anyone considering staying here. "

"The setting was perfect, the description of a woodland retreat was spot on. We loved sitting gazing out at the squirrels playing in the trees and were lucky enough to have them come up to the door and peer in. After leaving out almonds for them we had daily visits.Seagulls Rest was beautifully styled, it felt welcoming and cosy. Thank.you to Tina who was so helpful with our enquiries. "I loved our stay at the Pirate Inn,the people were so welcoming and helpful. The accommodation had everything we needed for our stay and was lovely and clean and very organised. We would definitely be happy to stay again when we are in the area. Great location meant that it was just a ten minute walk to the town centre and the harbour."

"The rooms with an ocean view are very nice and spacious. Parts of the hotel need renovation. My bathroom was clean, but the carpet in the bedroom had not been vacuumed well, bits of dirt were by the trash can. I arrived on Friday and my room was not cleaned for 4 days. Some employees were very nice and helpful while others did not even say good morning. Overall a good stay with beautiful views from room and restaurant and very good breakfast."

"Fantastic views , we had room 2 on the ground floor , not accesable through the hotel but that was no problem lovely large room with a seating area at window to view St Michaels Mount and beach. Good size bathroom with large walk in shower We had breakfast included which included cooked to order , restuarant again with far reach views of the Mount and beach. We did eat 1 meal in the evening , it was just ok If you book your room though the hotel you can get one of their parking slots next door , think its £10 per night , if you book through a booking agent you need to park in long stay which is further away , @£15 per 24 hours I would recommend for its position alone"

"Really enjoyed our stay , not a complaint but I guess there could have been a conversation around the assigning of the rooms where the larger suite was given to a party of 1 and smaller to two . More about just how things are communicated . The place was amazing , loved its location and the facilities within the suites were ideal to be able to accommodate if deciding to cook our own meals ."

"Lovely hotel and location with friendly helpful staff. The room was very clean with lovely sea views. The restaurant and bar area were very pleasant. I would have been happy to give 5 stars but the meal at the hotel on the first night was appalling and the group did not eat there again. The cooked breakfast on the first morning was greasy and unpleasant. Subsequent mornings it was better."
