"Had a really nice couple of nights, room was spacious, clean and ideal for a family. Staff were absolutely fantastic, friendly, courteous and helpful, credit to the resort and management. Breakfast had enough for everyone and a good selection of cooked and continental. We had one evening meal in the restaurant, couldn't fault the food or the service and very reasonably priced, we even stayed for the quiz! Overall, thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend and will hopefully visit again. Thank you. :) "

"Prior to our stay, I had a few questions, the host Richard was very prompt to answer these and communication was excellent. We had a fantastic stay at Poyers Farmhouse, it was a beautiful house, the perfect base and setting for our family get together. We enjoyed cooking some lovely meals in the large, very well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms were comfortable and the living spaces were great too. We made full use of the hot tub, which was a hit with adults, teenagers and children alike! Thank you, some wonderful memories made!"

"A charming cottage with a superb view of the estuary. We enjoyed sitting in the garden watching the boats go back and forth. The cottage had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. "

"Lovely big and clean room. Mini fridge had cold water and some milk to use with the Nespresso machine. Bathroom was clean and the shower was great. The welcome and ambience were excellent. The food was superb. The view was outstanding. I wholly recommend staying and dining here."

"We were hoping for a holiday cottage in a location where we didn't have to drive everyday to be somewhere interesting. Appledore is a perfect little village/town for a quiet holiday but it still feels alive with plenty of people around and activities going on. We enjoyed seeing locals going out on rowing practices in the evenings - I would love to be this close to the see to have this as a hobby. There is a very good selection of well rated eateries - we recommend the Flame Factory and both the fish and chip places. The cottage itself was comfortable and homely. "

"The hosts could not have been more helpful. The copper room was better than I expected, with a very large comfortable bed, an area to eat, lots of tea & coffee and even fresh milk. The en suit was well designed with a large shower and good quality soft towels. I would not hesitate to return or recommend, this is one of the best rooms we have rented. "
