"Highland House is spectacularly clean and has all the amenities you could wish for during your stay. We brought our own food and condiments and either cooked inside or outdoors on the propane grill. The pool water was warm and being in it was a wonderful way to spend our evenings. We enjoyed watching wild birds, butterflies, and the Scottish Highland Cattle when we sat in the rocking chairs on the front porch. With the house being built into the side of the hill, the main floor bedrooms were quiet and dark. Oh, yeah.... and that massage chair in the living room....AHHHH. "

"Beautiful, clean, updated home. After already traveling for a week this place actually felt like home. Beds were comfortable, home was spacious, & property was gorgeous. It is away from any stores/conveniences but that wasn’t a problem for us. That being said, cell service & internet worked, but was slow. Just an fyi in case it’s a deal breaker. We really had a nice and relaxing couple of days and we wished we could have stayed longer! If we find ourselves in in this area again we will definitely stay again."

"House looked like an older home on the outside. When you open the door you find a newer remodeled home that is clean and well decorated. Beds are newer and appliances are all modern. "

"The apartment was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Beds were restful and the bath linens were very nice. I would definitely stay here again if I am in the area. Something which would be helpful is to have a mirror in each bedroom so people can get ready when others are in the bathroom. Great place as a home away from home!"
