"The place is nice and secluded, which we love. It has quiet, beautiful surroundings. Our favorite part was that our host Siggi took time to visit with us and explain some details about Iceland we had been wondering about. We really enjoyed our stay!"

"These cabins were our favorite place to stay on our 10 night trip to Iceland. We had the cabin on the end and the views were spectacular. The inside of the cabin was well appointed and unique. We loved the hot tub and the friendly doggie and hot tubs. The restaurant just down the road was 5 star!!! Definitely stay here."

"The reservation listed said on the water, but that’s technically not right because there were cabins in front of the one we were supposed to be in. After a brief conversation, they switched us to a waterside cabin. It had a steep path to drag our suitcases up to the door. The two chairs that I assume you’re supposed to sit in to relax. Hard to describe how uncomfortable and old they were."

"Superb service. They went out of their way to help us out on couple of occasions. All other stays on our trip, no one else had a TV, this one had a TV, fridge, microwave in the room. Jonas, the manager walked around the breakfast area and was engaging with all the patrons. The room it self does need a makeover and the management knows that as Jonas himself confided they will be remodeling next year."
