“Lovely cottage full of character. Lots of thoughtful touches such as shower gel, shampoo and kitchen essentials and the owner responded promptly to all our queries. The garden was an added bonus in the hot weather. Only two minor criticisms - firstly it wasn’t clear from the description that the bathroom (and therefore the only toilet) were on the ground floor. Secondly it wasn’t possible to close the door to the second bedroom as one of the beds is in the way. Overall we enjoyed our brief……

“Lovely quiet place for a short break. Local pub is very friendly and location is not too far from places to visit by car. Glamping Pods very clean as well as toilet block and also well equipped. No issues and really liked that on the day of departure the owner came to say goodbye and ask how our stay was.”

“We as a family stay in holiday homes very frequently and this is one of the best experiences we have ever had. The house is very comfortable, beautifully kept and furnished, and is a lovely airy space. It had everything we needed and we enjoyed a very comfortable week. Lewes is a delightful town with lots of beautiful architecture and historical interest, and the house is brilliantly located for the train station and town centre which are both only ten to fifteen minutes walk away. “The White House Retreat was perfect for our 4 night stay . On entering you get the wow factor as it’s beautifully appointed and luxurious. The decor is modern and light with a stunning fireplace and upholstery. Bubbling hot tub on decking is the icing g on the cake . Very relaxing .Lots to do in the area . Worthing , Brighton Arundel and Chichester to visit and lots of pubs and restaurants nearby .”
