No issues and really liked that on the day of departure the owner came to say goodbye and ask how our stay was.”

The house is very comfortable, beautifully kept and furnished, and is a lovely airy space. It had everything we needed and we enjoyed a very comfortable week. Lewes is a delightful town with lots of beautiful architecture and historical interest, and the house is brilliantly located for the train station and town centre which are both only ten to fifteen minutes walk away. “On arrival we were unable to access the property and had to wait for another guest to let us in. Smooth check process thereafter, Michael receptionist lovely and welcoming. Property description is not entirely what it seems as whole chalet is a bit miss leading, the rooms are part of a large building and spacious, clean rooms. Slightly dated, it is a charity which explains the decor and layout. No bar at the weekend, no swimming pool at the weekend. Good location, would stay again now I……

“The White House Retreat was perfect for our 4 night stay . On entering you get the wow factor as it’s beautifully appointed and luxurious. The decor is modern and light with a stunning fireplace and upholstery. Bubbling hot tub on decking is the icing g on the cake . Very relaxing .Lots to do in the area . Worthing , Brighton Arundel and Chichester to visit and lots of pubs and restaurants nearby .”
