"Don't judge a book by its cover!! From the outside I thought id made a big mistake.....had to check in at the restaurant and room was a boardwalk level!! Then we got to see the suite....WOW Newly renovated beautiful suite and extremely clean. We ate at the restaurant twice and we're not disappointed....fabulous seafood and even a %10 discount as we were staying there. Would stay here again in a heart beat"

"The room was comfortable. The continental breakfast was fine. Really this older; yet, refurbished motel was comfortable and clean. So, 5 star except for: would have liked a sheet change every 2 days; but, no sheet change during our 4 day stay, only 1 window to open in the unit, and couldn't since it had no screen, intermittently loud refrigerator had to be shut off at night. Didn't care for heavy bed spread, since doubted it was washed often. Otherwise, fabulous responsive owner, great location to downtown, parking right outside of the room, quiet lodgers, and access to highways to travel around NS."
