"If you're looking for a hotel near SJO and love lush Costa Rican greenery...this is the place for you! The hotel is conveniently located...less than 10 minutes from the airport and offers airport shuttle pickup. Staff are welcoming and speak English & Spanish. Love the old world serene atmosphere, the library, comfortable reception seating ...and yes...you actually get a real key for your door. The rooms are tastefully decorated and offer all the creature comforts...comfortable beds, tv with premium channels, and air conditioning, hair dryer and wifi. I appreciate the extra large bathroom, but the water pressure could be a bit better. The grounds are exceptional...greenery everywhere! We even spotted a few mango trees. I could not do this place justice if I forgot to mention the restaurant...Cactus Beer Garden. Delicious food and drinks at typical prices. Loved this place!!!"
