"The Gibson Inn is one of my favorite hotels in all of Florida, if not the Southeastern USA. You just can’t beat old world charm and they just keep making the place better and better with improvements that don’t take away from its historical beauty. We were there this past summer, and upon coming back this week, they’ve put in a swimming pool! Parking has been improved and they’re adding a second restaurant. As usual, you get a great night’s sleep because of how quiet and peaceful Apalachicola is, plus the beds are very comfortable. Bathrooms are beautiful as usual. I wish I had gotten in earlier so I could’ve had dinner and a drink at the bar, it’s always good. The only thing I do miss is that they switched over to plastic electric room cards like every other hotel…I miss the old keys! Thanks again for another great stay. Be back soon. "

"The lady that prepares breakfast was fantastic. She was attentive to the fact that I am gluten free. We had a lovely conversation. My only recommendation is that you might want to put some kind of a sign referring to having gluten free items. "
