Lovely to relax in, this 300 year old cottage has lots of original features and exposed beams but with all the comforts of modern living. Great place for walkers, close to coastal path to Berry Head or Fishcombe cove and you can catch the bus back to the square just a few steps from the cottage. Evenings explore the restaurants and then at the end of the evening its just a few easy steps back to the cottage. We also take short break stays, please contact me for more information. We booked the cottage for my mums 50th birthday as a surprise and had the most comfortable and wonderful stay. We took our little dogs with us and although the weather wasn't the best it didn't matter as the cottage was great to spend time in and there are so many local dog friendly pubs on the door step. Very quick booking and communication. Spotless cottage, couldn't fault a thing as it was just what we wanted. Thank you! I was pleasantly surprised with this cottage, it's much larger than you would ever imagine from the outside appearance. Very quirky, comfortable and central to Brixham town and harbour. We had lovely walks with the dogs to the stunning coves along the coastline to Paignton. The English Riviera is one of the most beautiful coastlines in the UK. We will certainly return. Rosalie provided is with lots of information and is "super helpful." Brixham town is a buzzing thriving community with lovely pubs and restaurants. For us ... it's near perfect... Parking is available in the harbour in a dedicated space about 5 mins walk away and down the hill. Our only small problem was the boiler was "switched off" (according to the boiler man) so we had no heating or hot water other than from the electric shower on the first night and had to wait in the following morning to let the boiler man in - luckily not for too long and the weather was warm. The location is fantastic as you are near all the shops and restaurants it's just a short walk to the harbour. Feb 5, 2019 #### Upper Cottage Brixham....a wonderful cottage on the coast in a beautiful part of Devon Upper Cottage Brixham is the place you want to stay in for your relaxing holiday whether it's summer, winter, autumn or spring. My family and I spent the whole month of December 2018 at the cottage and couldn't have been happier. A home away from home and the position could not have been more perfect. Rosalie has thought of everything and the cottage was warm and cosy. One word of warning for those who have a problem with stairs, there are steep stairs leading up to the lounge room from the front door and another lot of spiral stairs leading from the lounge to the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom.
