“No issues with the stay, complimentary butter, Jam and milk in the fridge. Along with sugar, tea, coffee and biscuits. Even had washing powder. Only issue was when sat on the sofa there was no table to put your drinks on, I ended up using a waste paper bin turned upside down. In the bathroom the glass shower door you can’t open so have to get in at the far end of the bath and walk down the bath, with the water on this gets slippery so could do with a bath mat.”

“We had an utterly fabulous stay at the Old Rectory. We stayed with family over our wedding weekend and it made for a really special weekend with family in a gorgeous setting making lots of fabulous memories.Nothing was too much trouble for Sarah and Kim, and we were really encouraged to make ourselves at home and to enjoy the house as own own.The house was very well stocked with everything we could need or think of. A chef came in to cook a nice lunch for us and the kitchen was brilliantly……

“Unfortunately when we arrived at the property, the cleaners were still cleaning. We were meant to check in from 4:30pm, we arrived at 5:28 and the cleaners were only half way done. We had to wait about 3hours for them to finish. The cleaning was mediocre for a deep cleaning. But the stay was good for us as we made use of the local area and the house was nice it just wasn’t spotless for a deep clean. We were able to check out at 12 instead of 10am only because we sent evidence of the fact that we……

“This property is located on a very busy street and brings concerns about the noise. The neighborhood was also concerning based on our walk to the property from the train station. The property was not very clean. There were shoe marks on the walls, spots on the bed sheets and an old beverage bottle of yellow liquid in the bathroom drawer. Not sure what it was. We ultimately were not comfortable staying here and went to a hotel.”

“Bad stay - the host did not send me check in details on the day of check in so I had to chase her up and she didn't even apologise for the hassle. One of the mattresses is so uncomfortable, you can Feel the springs. If you travel as 2 the host locks the bedroom doors for 1 room, is there any need? Overall, the place is okay but the hassle is not worth it ”

“Nigel was an excellent host, communicative and informative. The accommodation had everything you could possibly need, although the wifi was a bit iffy at times. Its was very peaceful and a great area for walking your dog. ”

“Overall the house was comfortable and cosy. The only drawback was that we did not find any extra pillows and bedrooms have no lampshades. The location was excellent and only around 25 mins walk to the town centre. Tasco is only 10 mins walk away and Abington Park around 15mins walk. Other shops are also within walking distance. The host was always reachable and even allowed us to keep the suitcases in the house after check out at 11am since the taxi came for us later. Will definitely recommend. ”

“Unfortunately didn’t get to experience the property as our host cancelled which I didn’t find out until I messaged them the night before requesting information, terrible experience which ultimately ruined the planned weekend as nothing else available 16 hours before departure, if I hadn’t text I would of arrived and turned away ??? Poor host, unforgivable lack of communication and basic respect”
