"Little Oatlands was home for 9 of us for a flower filled week in May. We assembled from KC, BC, CA and VA to attend my daughter’s wedding overlooking the Potomac at Murray Hill. The property and approach to Little Oatlands takes your breath away! Flowering Dogwoods line the drive blending with the white fence and homes in the distance. Each of us walked down the lane to read the plaques and the history of the preserved property. Certainly a history lesson and it would be wonderful to know...

"We enjoyed the location of this quiet highland home away. It was close enough to amenities and sites, but far enough to feel like we were staying in the country. We were able to do day trips to Harpers Ferry, Winchester, Leesburg, Middleburg, but also just enjoyed this surroundings at the property. There were plenty of bed options and the kitchen was well-maintained and equipped. We will return."

"This is our second time renting the cottage where we chose to celebrate our 5th anniversary and had the most amazing weekend relaxing and enjoying the peace and calm of the country. The location could not have been more convenient to the center of town since it only took us 10 min to be in the middle of shopping and restaurants. The cottage is perfectly decorated and has all the amenities you would want (high-speed internet, cable, fully stocked kitchen). We will be back."

"The house is very nice with accurate pictures to see what your paying for. The owners were on top of everything and and were good at communicating with us as to things they were taking care of. The neighborhood was nice and most importantly quiet. We enjoyed our stay very much. My son loved playing in the backyard which was completely and well enclosed. The grocery was just a few minutes away and about an hour from washington. Would definitely stay again whenever we are back in the area."
