        Excellent getaway !!

If you’re looking for a quiet retreat, this is perfect. More wildlife than people, and the house is very nice. Only minor qualification is that the lockbox is not the easiest to open.

          Relaxing retreat

Hilltop Hideaway was a wonderful, relaxing retreat. We so enjoyed listening to birdsong, strolling the trails, dining on the porch, and admiring the extensive artwork. There were no issues with the internet connection.

The house was very clean and was well stocked with towels, dishes, and such. Very comfortable, beautiful woods and lawn, and fantastic wrap around porch.

              Gorgeous Getaway

We decided that we were tired of looking at our four walls for the last couple months and booked this house so we could look at “new” walls for a few days. Check-in was a breeze, the house was gorgeously appointed, and very clean. The website description was accurate and the house was exactly as we’d anticipated. My family’s favorite amenity was the wraparound deck and we loved that it was partially covered. We were able to take advantage of some of the walking trails on the property. We also enjoyed horseback riding at the Marriott Ranch, which was recommended on the listing and in the guest book. We did contact the property manager once during our stay to ask a question and received a response immediately. Great service and responsiveness! There were only two small things that may be considered less than ideal... first, the grill had a hard time maintaining temps over 300 degrees so grilling was a bit difficult. The second thing was that we had thought there were Adirondack chairs for the back porch and couldn’t find them. After consulting the property manager, we learned that the chairs were in the process of being replaced. Once we knew we weren’t overlooking them, we just moved chairs from the covered portion of the deck to the back. No problem. This house was so deliciously quiet and secluded. Definitely recommend for anyone desiring seclusion with lots of space to explore.
