"Absolutely incredible weekend getaway! The hosts were very attentive and gave the place a charming bed-and-breakfast feel. The landscaping was beautiful, and we appreciated thoughtful amenities like the kayaks.It was the perfect home base for exploring the area — and just as lovely to stay in and enjoy the cozy wilderness. For bird lovers, we saw blue herons and osprey everywhere and even spotted a bald eagle!The place was super clean and well decorated. We love it so much we’d even come back...

"Bunkhouse, farm, farm tour, and scenic walks made for the perfect family getaway. The bunkhouse had everything needed for cooking Ovoka’s famed wagu steaks over a grill, and firewood for the fire pit. Would highly recommend for a weekend getaway from DC. Thanks to Mel, Roy and Henry for the hospitality!"

"My family and I spent one night at this cute lake house. The house is fantastic—new, very clean, and well-equipped with toiletries, snacks, coffee, and creamers, plenty of towels, blankets, and games. The WiFi connection was reliable, contributing to an enjoyable stay. We had a great time overall despite very cold and windy weather. The communication with the owner was excellent, especially when we had questions about entering and locking the house on our way out."

"Everything at the cabin was perfect and so thoughtful. We had a great stay, my only regret is that we didn’t get to stay longer! We would definitely stay here again. We had everything we could’ve ever needed and the decor was lovely, and the setting was gorgeous. Highly recommend!"
