Room was dated and needed a bit of tidying and modernising, but still keeping a cotswold look. Bed was a little uncomfortable and very high! Good location but expensive.

Whole establishment was grimy and shabby. Room was very expensive for what it was, two old beds, a shower room barely big enough to turn around in. Black mould in the shower, toilet seat very heavily stained. Staff were pleasant and helpful and food was ok. Wouldn’t recommend or use again.

A real gem. Our room was spoftless with a wonderful old world feed not over modernised or lacking in character but comfortable. The staff were courteous and we were met in the morning after a great nights sleep in a comfy bed by a delicious cooked breakfast with toast and orange juice all for 12.50 each. All together a wonderful experience, thankyou,we will be back!!

Great friendly place to stay

Was a fabulous place to stay - from the moment we walked in it had a lovely relaxed atmosphere and the staff were super friendly. We were staying after running a marathon and it was ideal for relaxing with drinks in front of the fire. Good pub food too

November mid week break

We stayed room only for three days. Room is clean, the owners and staff very friendly and the location’s two minutes from the heart of the village. We’ve stayed here before and will do again.
