"Beautiful cottage in a fantastic, friendly village. It had everything we needed and was located close enough to the places we wanted to visit. Good local walks and a really nice pub over the road. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we are in the area."

"The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was in need of some refurbishment and the shower was poor. However, Howfield Manor is a beautiful building and even in December the grounds were lovely. I would like to stay there again. "

"Although some areas could take a lick of paint, this traditional country house hotel was just what we wanted pre our Le Shuttle journey. The staff are an absolute credit to hospitality, the food is delicious and the bed was comfy, great shower pressure and peace and quiet plus safe parking. "

"Guys, I promise you, never slept on a better mattress in a hotel.
We spent a night only and our room was spacious with a large desk.
We had also breakfast and the staff was really friendly. As we travel to the uk quite often, we will most probably go back!"

"Lovely comfortable and clean room. Bathroom door got a bit stuck but wasnt a massive issue.
Bed was so comfortable. It was a warm night but an excellent touch providing a fan for the room. Loved that there was lots of options of apps on the smart tv. Great for a relaxing evening.
Food and service for dinner and breakfast was good too. Will definitely be back"
"Unique, quirky, accommodation. If you love discovering history this is for you. A great way to see what Favaversham has to offer. Everyone very friendly."
"Beautiful hotel. We were greeted by a glass of prosecco whilst we checked in. We had a standard room which was more than adequate in size and it has the softest bed and linen I think I have ever stayed in, the room had a balcony looking out over part of the golf course. We played golf and used the spa after which is intimate in size but well worth using. We ate in both restaurants and had breakfast on the terrace both mornings. The food is very much American asian infusion and is fantastic. Not massively vegan friendly menu but they made the effort to cater for me. Everyone one was really friendly and nothing was too much of an ask. They also have amazing cars if you want to be chauffeured!"
Customs House by Bloom Stays, Large house for family groups of up to 20
10/10 Excellent
"A wonderful stay in Customs House in Faversham. A group of 20 people enjoying the house and the town. The house worked very well even full. We enjoyed the garden when we arrived, with pizzas from Papa Bianco and ate indoors later when the weather turned. We tested the wine bar and bought food from both the butcher and the cheese shop. Great pubs and a very nice triple market weekend. The train into Canterbury was very practical. All in all a perfect birthday celebration. "

Very welcoming, friendly and helpful.
Lovely cottage in a great setting too. Good size and dog/family friendly. Comfy bed & sofa & the equipped kitchen was handy.
Would certainly stay again!"
"Small but perfectly formed. Sheila and Stephen's cottage is charming, comfortable and very peaceful. Ideally situated for us in exploring East Kent, particularly English Heritage properties.
A lovely stay and very much recommended.
