We have stayed at the Alvear many times over the years. The service is perfect. We love the breakfast and the bar is fabulous. Be sure to try the Grill restaurant, it’s delicious. And don’t forget to take a look at the spiral staircase!

Beautiful, historic luxury hotel. Terrific location and walkable to many sites in the area. The interior of the hotel is gorgeous and the staff was very friendly and professional. We really enjoyed the rooftop lounge for cocktails before dinner. We had a standard room which was beautifully appointed and with an extremely comfortable bed! The linens and bath products were superb. I would gladly stay here again on a future trip to Buenas Aires. Highly recommend.
