"Escaping to the country has never been more fun and magical. The resident robin and all his many friends keep you in that chilled mindset. The town of Rye was 10 mins by car and full of historical charm. It was even being used for filming while we visited. We walked from Rye to Camber sands along the cycle path and there are frequent buses back. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Rumwold shepherds hut. Perfect location for seeing the local area, we spent a day at Port Lympne and had a Sunday roast at The Woolpack Inn not far away. "Our first overnight stay at this particular Holiday Inn Express hotel, but probably will not be our last. The whole interior of the hotel including the reception area, bar and restaurant area, communal areas and especially the rooms have all been refurbished, and apparently fairly recently, to a very good standard. There is plenty of parking available at a cost of £4 per 24 hours. From the reception desk staff to the bar and reception staff, they are all extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious, well appointed including an iron and ironing board. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The room was very quiet and extremely clean. The only disappointment was the wafer thin toilet rolls. The bar and restaurant area is also very spacious and comfortable. We ordered a pizza which was delicious and hot. The same area is used to serve breakfast which was plentiful, hot and a good choice of hot and cold dishes. "
