The fire alarm went off and I was asked to go check if my room was on fire. The room was really clean, bright and comfortable and plenty of space to relax in. Nice to have good quality coffee and tea facilities in the room and reasonably priced items on offer in room if you wanted it. Loved the roomy shower in the bathroom. Staff were really friendly and helpful (helped find a taxi). Food in the bar was excellent, and the main menu looked great (we will try next time). The continental breakfast was a prefect start to the day. Will return! Fantastic selection of pint on offer. The stout was class. Amazing they had a 3 course vegan menu (couple of options on each course) and the food was super lovely. Nice wholesome pub food but of a higher calibre that you could expect in a restaurant. Delicious. The staff were so attentive. I wish I could remember the person name who checked me in and served (red hair and glasses, so to describe your appearance, but you deserve credit 😁) this person knows how to run a bar/restaurant and is clearly super capable. They even went out to go get me oat milk for morning. Not disappointed at all. The staff was all polite bedroom clean food good.. Breakfast was continental with a selection of cereals & oats yogurts.
