This property is very nice, but staff service is terrible. I would prefer to stay at Seaside on Londsday Quay but it was fully booked.
The hotel made big problems for me before. I had a prepaid expedia reservation, and they charged my credit card for my entire stay.
Obviously staff is poorly trained.
I went shopping and came back with a few bags. I wanted to retrieve my luggage from bag check. There was only one person at the desk. He asked me to come back and find my bags even though I had the check tags. I said that I wanted to stay with my shopping bags. He came with the bags. Then he gave me a lecture about how he was busy and he interrupted his work to get my bags. Wow!
This is a high end hotel. I asked why there is only one employee at the desk at 3PM. He said the others were on lunch break at 3PM. OK.....z
This is a high end hotel. One desk worker. No one for bags etc etc. And surly too. Seems like that for a $250-400 night hotel fully booked, they could spurge on one more $15-20 per hour employee.
As said above, I try not to stay at this hotel, but I had no choice.
