Fantastic house, 3 bathrooms, so optimal for 3 couples. Philippe is a great person, welcomed us with a basket of goodies. Great village with 2 good and pleasant restaurants. Swimming in the river was very good. The nearby caves with drawings were an excellent experience. Visits to Cahors and to Sainte-Cir-Lapopie ...

This spacious property was a converted old French farmhouse with fantastic views across the countryside. Very rural -but not easy to find even with Sat-nav. Great base for exploring the area. A dark sky area so perfect for looking at the stars in the evening. We generally explored during the day and cooked our meals in the evening.

Commune with nature and explore the great outdoors at Pech Merle Cave during your travels in Cabrerets. Stroll along this quaint area's riverfront, or simply enjoy its wineries.
You can learn about the history of Cabrerets with a stop at Château de Cabrerets. While you're in the area, wander around the natural setting.
It's MUCH easier to stay in Cabrerets than make the drive from Cahors in the morning. Pech Merle Grotto was awesome! Cave drawings were incredibly crisp. Museum was terrific.The tour is totally in French though. English tour book helped.
