Beautiful views, comfortable rooms -- definitely recommend a Nile view room. Staff were responsive and efficient.

Pros: Location
Cons: the room they gave me was of a terrible view, looks like a damp area.
Location: 5 minutes walking to the Opera House and good Casinos, 5 minutes driving to Souk Al-Khalili.
first time in Cairo, the Hotel is in very classy location, clean and lux.

Hotel stay was prepaid with hotels.com. However, hotel charged my credit again for the stay again. Cash in the hotel safe was stolen. It was an awful experience for my stay at this hotel. Stay away!

Lovely stay on the Nile

Posted Nov 18, 2016 on Hotels
The Semiramis was a great place to stay. The location was on the Nile and close to the Egyptian Museum, plus close to the embassy neighborhoods. The only downside to staying at the Semiramis was that half of the menu was missing anytime we tried to eat. Otherwise I would highly recommend staying here.
