We had to stay a night here as our original hotel wouldn't allow an early check in so we found this last minute. For the price you get what you pay for. AC didn't work so we had to keep balcony door open at night. It was walkable to shops and restaurants open late at night so that was good. Area seemed like heavily local and not touristy. The breakfast in the morning was good given the price.

Clean hotel with nice friendly staff, clean bathrooms, the rooms need an upgrade though. The hotel is situated in an old building right in the middle of downtown Cairo which is a perfect location. The continental breakfast was poor. The elevator is old and unreliable. A good stay for the price.

A courteous and sympathetic concierge greated us after a 30 hour voyage to Ciaro from Los Angeles. We were exhausted, and he made sure we got a quite room. We slept very well. The breakfast was also a nice surprise and very good.
