“Seems to be the only hotel choice in town, and it is fine. But nothing particularly nice at all. There's no decor on the walls; very little lighting in the room. “Hotel Villa San Carlo was a disappointment. The hosts are exceedingly nice, but the hotel itself is in dire need of an update. Nothing has been done in 20 years. The beds are wildly uncomfortable, the bathrooms less functional from the shower cabins to the 20 year old hair dryers.
