Brawley Inn is a no frills, very budget motel with a low maintenance budget. When you walk around on the outside of the buildings, you can see old signs on the walls that clearly haven't been replaced for decades. Furniture in the room is "stacked" with no effort at intelligent design or aesthetics. This place tries to represent itself as a higher class "Inn" rather than a budget "motel" by offering amenities such as a pool and gym. But when I attempted to use the gym, I discovered that every single one of their fitness machines was ancient and broken. Even the non-electrical gym equipment was broken. So, one has to ask, what's the point of having a gym if it's going to be so blatantly neglected? There were no cockroaches, and the bed was comfortable, but other than this, I was quite unimpressed with this motel.
