“First time to the Mountain Home area and could not be happier with our choice of places to stay. The owners live on site and run the on site restaurant. Check in was a breeze. Went to the restaurant and meet the owner. She was very friendly and even helped us get a reservation for the evening at the restaurant. The small 1 room cabin was perfect. The views of Lake Norfolk was perfect as well. The owners prepared the cabin for every situation. It was a tad bit cool. After looking around we found……

“There was ample parking, easy walk to Casey’s in the morning to grab coffee/breakfast. What’s provided wasn’t great. It was clean and had the basics, no frills but you’re not paying for anything more than the basics. I’d stay here again for the price.”

“Hot tub didn’t look clean. Our sink in our room was clogged. Breakfast selection is poor. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely rent this cabin again. I realize it’s the true cabin experience so I do expect it to not be like staying in a luxury hotel. The cabin was very neat and we loved the atmosphere, however when we arrived it seemed as if no one had been in it in a while. It is July so it is very hot and the air had not been turned on or anything so it took until about 3 am Saturday morning for the window unit to get the cabin cooled down to a comfortable……

“Cabin was clean, beds comfortable and linens were clean. The cabin does not include coffee or water - bare bones. I would have like more flat surfaces in the bedrooms to place personal belongings. Adequate charging outlets. Phone service is sketchy but good wifi allowing internet calling. Not within walking distance of eating areas but there is a convenience (mostly fishing) store next door open during reg business hours with great coffee. I would stay again to appreciate view of river and……

“Beautiful room, very clean, friendly staff. Bed was very comfortable and the pillows were fantastic.”

“This place has monthly renters, there was people running around all hours of the night, sounded like horses running above us waking us up many times. Outside the rooms was people's stuff all outside their units (really junkie) and the room had a view of the dumpster that had junk piled all around it. ”
