“This cabin is in the community of cabins of the old “Pinewood Cabins”. Trying to book with pinewood was impossible and stressful so by luck I found “The Old Home Place” on VRBO. Booking was a breeze and I would book again with this host. It is a beautiful and well equipped cabin and is in walking distance of downtown, although it is on the lower side of the hill so you would be walking uphill for a bit to get to the main st. “The “Nook” was a great location for walking to all events and shopping in Mountain View. It was very clean and I would have given it a 4.8 if I could. The only reason it wasn’t a 5 star review is due to the bathroom sink not draining properly and it is a bit pricey. But, all in all, a great place.”
