Great Stay

The apartment was cute, clean and perfectly decorated. Julie stocked everything you would need for your stay. We loved the apartment itself and the location and would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend!

Great Location

Great Place!

This sweet little apartment was perfect for the 3 of us-great location, easy parking, well stocked and lovely interior. We hope to stay again soon.

Wonderful place!

The apartment was excellent and my stay was great. The property manager was prompt in replying to my questions. This would be great for a couple or a family with kids. It might not be as good for two couples because you have to go through one sleeping area to get to the other bedroom. Everything was clean and well maintained and the kitchen was well set up to actually cook meals. Overall this is a great place to stay in the Keweenaw. .

Calumet Stay

We loved the accommodations! Great location, easy access to downtown; everything is within walking distance. And the location was good for driving to Houghton/Hancock, Laurium and others. The house was exceptionally clean, and inviting. Will be returning there when we go back to Calumet!

Super clean apartment in cute town

Nice little apartment in good location. Great communication with property manager, no problem getting in. Nice cookware and dishes, although stove and fridge were a little wonky. Overall it worked for our weekend just perfect!

Calumet Cutie

Our host addressed every detail in furnishing this unit for very comfortable stay. My sister and I remarked frequently on the eclectic decorating discoveries we made. We highly recommend this host and her lovely accommodations.

Great location. The only things to consider are the stairs and the slight fish smell in the hallway, which has been mentioned in the other reviews. The smell does not seem to be noticeable in the apartment itself.

Cute and convenient

It was great! Bigger than expected. Was originally worried about fish smell in the apartment, but it stays contained in the hallway and isn't noticeable inside of the apartment.

Oh my gosh! Where do I begin? Upon entering, we were immediately in awe of the painted copper/bronzed staircase that extended into a chic entrance way. It was such a cute vignette. The apartment was very spacious, extremely clean and the king-sized bed was plush and comfy. We did not sleep in the twin beds…which were displayed with eclectic pillows and comforter . Bravo to the designer/decorator and to the owner as well. This one is a keeper!

Must See To Believe!

You can't grasp how freakin' cool this apartment is by the pictures. If you like quirky, creative, but highly functional spaces, this one is for you! The owner displays some of her own amazing modern art and every inch has some sort of unique, creative thing to look at - be it the walls, floors, countertops, furniture. She has thought of everything to include in the apartment to make your stay comfortable. I will definitely keep this place on my list of favorites before it becomes too popular to book. Located right in Downtown Calumet, you can walk to all sorts of interesting places that should attract plenty of creatives, history buffs and outdoorsy types. Interesting galleries, museums, a locally-produced public radio show venue, good food, a couple beautiful cafe/bakeries, adventure shops, really interesting old buildings and a good amount "ruin porn" for the photographers. This place is going to boom soon. Get up there to see before its unique character is lost.

We had such a fantastic stay in Calumet! This apartment had everything we needed to explore the upper peninsula with comfort and ease. The apartment itself is so cute and filled with unique and quirky surprises while also being so cozy and accommodating. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a cool and comfortable stay in a great location to explore further afield or enjoy local restaurants and antique shops!

Julie has an AMAZING home away from home for any 1 person or family. It was so comfortable and clean. I don't think I have stayed anywhere as unique and well taken care of before this stay! Safe area, easy parking, 10 feet tall ceilings, and such artistic style T! hank you, Julie, for helping to make my vacation so wonderful! I plan to use this again next summer!

Fun little apartment

It was more than enough for my daughter and I. Our needs were completely met. We had so much fun visiting the peninsula. The only thing that could even be said that wasnt great was my daughter (who has a sensitive nose) thought it smelled "weird" in the entry. But on the whole it was wonderful. The provider was wonderful and very quick and good to respond. All of our needs were met.

Fun, fun apartment. Love the decor very cozy for the four of us. Perfect for our adventure in the Calumet area, would recommend this eclectic apartment. Stairs gave us a good workout, 22 steps all told. Loved our stay!

Cozy & cute

Immediately upon walking in, my boyfriend & I adored the fun decor & MI rock collection. The kitchen was well equipped with utensils, the bed was super comfortable, & the building location was fantastic! (Just minutes from several local cross-country ski tracks & some of my favorite rock hounding locations!) The only issue we ran across is that the shower likely needs replacing. But overall, really enjoyed our stay & we hope to be back in the future!
