Luxe Cambridge Station Flat with Terrace

Summary:
A beautiful contemporary flat, with a terrace located in the heart of the historical city of Cambridge. The perfect place for a group of up to 5 people people (plus one young child) looking to explore, study or relax. The flat is in a prime location, just a few metres from the train station, close to the City Centre and the cosmopolitan Mill Road . The flat features an open plan living/dining/kitchen space, 2 bedrooms, one bathroom and a terrace.

The Space:
The living room is light and airy with fantastic views. The balcony is the perfect spot to relax and unwind after exploring the city or a busy day at work. Bedroom one has a lovely double bed and bedroom two has two singles. Both bedrooms have plenty of storage. The living area has a brand new double sofa-bed. There is one spacious bathroom with a shower over bath.

Guest Access:
There is coded access into the complex and guests can then take the lift or stairs to the apartment which is on the third floor.

Getting Around:
You'll be super central when staying in our apartment and can reach anywhere by foot, bike or scooter. We have a gated courtyard to store bikes and scooters if needed. If travelling by car the station car park is next door and the daily fee is £12.50 and weekly fee is £48 which is the cheapest car park Cambridge has to offer!

Other Things to Note:
Please note: we offer remote check-in until 10pm with the support of our team via messenger or phone should there be any issues. IF you choose to check-in after this time we will not be able to offer assistance as our office is closed. Please read the check-in instructions and address thoroughly before checking in.

Great apartment and very central

We had a lovely stay for 2 nights for a friends 50th birthday, the apartment was lovely and clean and very central to everything and all walking so need for your car. The parking was expensive, so if possible catch the train as it is less than 2 3 minute walk to the apartment , i would highly recommend a stay here and there is a sainsburys opposite so can pick up any essentials.

We had some difficulties during our stay. The biggest problem was during our first night, which was also our first night after flying across the pond. Around 2 am the smoke alarm went off, and it continued its every 2 minutes chirping. We barely slept. Assuming that it might be the battery, I tried to open the cover, but it would not move. The noise continued. We called for help, and the maintenance person did arrive within an hour or two. He also was unable to open the cover but finally pulled the battery out through a small opening around the edge of the cover. Even with the new battery the noise continued. Hypothesizing that the smoke detector was somehow linked to the one in the kitchen, he changed that one too, although he had the same difficulty getting its cover off. We were skeptical, but his trick worked perfectly. That meant, though, that we invested most of the night and most of the next morning hearing the intrusive noise. In addition, the flat lacked some items which are usually present in rental properties:- No “Welcome to our apartment” booklet with explanations of where to find things and how to make them work. That meant that we could not figure out how to turn on the oven or how to make the washer/dryer move to its drying mode. We packed slightly wet clothes. Also missing:- an iron, even though there was an ironing board. - a paring knife- some kind of coffee pot. (There were three K-cups in the cupboard but no pot of any kind.
