This beautiful, recently redecorated cottage is set on farmland in a charming peaceful village with easy access to Cambridge. The idyllic setting has beautiful walks, one that even takes you to Wimpole Hall National trust. Work from home with great Wifi, or don’t think about work at all ! The village also has an amazing pub with 2 award-winning family restaurants. A charming 2 bedroom cottage set in the beautiful rural village of Great Eversden. The cottage has all mod cons including a well equipped kitchen with a washing machine, dishwasher and fridge/ freezer, there is also a dining area. The lounge is comfy and cosy with stairs leading up to the 2 bedrooms, 1 double & 1 single bed plus a bathroom, there is also a cloakroom downstairs. Underfloor heating and central heating make your stay quite luxurious. Outside is a fenced-off private secure area with seating, this is also ideal for pet owners. The whole cottage is yours no areas are shared It\`s self check-in but I am available for any questions or advice on the area when needed Great Eversden Is a beautiful very peaceful village situated approximately 7 miles south-west of Cambridge with easy access into central Cambridge. Take the public footpath to Wimpole Hall a stunning National Trust treasure or 5 just minutes by car Soak up the charming rural countryside of Cambridge with many beautiful walks. You also have a wonderful pub plus 2 award-winning restaurants in the village, the Indian is just 5 minute’s walk away Steeped in history there has been a church at Great Eversden since at least 1092, and dedicated to St Mary, the original church was replaced in the 13th century after being struck by lightning. Watch the lambing at Wimpole Hall, you can even feed the Lambs which is a wonderful experience for children, there are always plenty of activities, depending on the season Granchester is very easily accessible this is a charming village with great pubs restaurants and riverside walks Orwell village is 5 minutes another pretty English village with great pubs restaurants and walks, Wimpole Home Farm is located here Transport Travelling to Cambridge- the Park & ride is great and it\`s free to park! Buses leave to central Cambridge every 10 minutes from the park & ride Escape the hussle and bussle in this very pretty comfy home Free parking for 2 cars, a car is essential unless you are a keen cyclist Travelling to Cambridge- the Park & ride is great and it\`s free to park!
