Campus Corridor Vacations from $487

Beautiful place to stay and the hostess is wonderful!! Will definitely stay here again in the future.

We stayed in one of the suites and the room itself was very large and very nice. It is decorated mostly in an old country folksy style. I saw so many 10/10 ratings for the Evening Shade so that maybe I was expecting much more. The grounds outside were over grown and unkempt. Dead flowers in the flower pots. Porch and deck in a state of half repair. So.. The visual appeal from the outside wasn't great. The ice machine wasn't working. And it was obviously bone dry. Hadn't been working in a long time. Which is not a really big deal except that the owner checking me in made sure to tell me exactly where the ice machine was and that I had an ice bucket in the room for ice. The snacks in the room were past their experation date. Kinda bad. There was no daily house keeping service which I don't think you can give a place 10/10 without daily house keeping. And there was a sign on the sink. If you leave your towels on the floor, the towels will be replaced. If you leave the towels on the rack they will not be replaced. They will be reused. We left towels on the floor everyday. And they were just sitting there everyday when we would come back. No one ever checked for towels lay on the floor. Why do they have that sign in the room? They daily breakfast broughr to your room each morning was ok. Nothing spectacular. It was a breakfast burrito one day and a hash brown casserole the next day. But yes. The room inside itself was very nice and spacious. But it's no 10/10
