"Lovely view. Seems newly renovated, clean & bright. Bed very firm, not my preference but not a big deal really."

"We enjoyed our stay here. The location was ideal, beautiful spot, and we all (8 people) had enough room to spread ourselves out. The only improvements to be made are in the small details. We didn't have a toaster (the owner brought us one after) , no BBQ utensils, cooking spoons, no locks on the bedroom & bathroom doors, no curtains or blinds and some windows lacked screens. I'm sure that in time, the owner will fix these. Thanks!"

"We enjoyed the place, it has a great location, it is rustic but has ac and washer dryer, close walk to the beach, the only downside was the beds, very uncomfortable, need to be replaced along with the living room furniture. The host was great and even offered us a fresh towels while we were there, the BBQ worked great, lots of propane and utensils, would definitely be back if it had new beds."

"This cottage was cleaned, cozy and inviting. The shower pressure is a bit low but the rest of the appliances are in very good conditions. The walking beaches are small and private and rustics which is good if you want quietness. I recommend this cottage for couple or family."

"I almost never do reviews but need to do this one. Property has serious septic/leach field issue and should not have been rented in this condition. Back yard was flooded with overflow and wastewater was pooled up under the back deck to the extent you could hear it gurgle when toilet was flushed. When the washing machine drained the toilet burped and we had to close the windows from the smell of the yard. The toilet was leaking at the base onto the bathroom floor and required two flushes to get...

"This rustic cottage was the perfect spot for myself to relax and enjoy family and friends who visited. It wasn’t far from the beautiful beach or other attractions. The deck was an added bonus in order to sit out and enjoy a meal from the BBQ. Our host was awesome! Given the extreme heat with humidity during the stay having no air conditioning made the stay quite uncomfortable for sleeping or escaping from the heat. This would probably need to be addressed as the summers are getting hotter....

"Excellent location for Parlee Beach access. We were there for one week at the end of June 2022. We were 4 in our group. The cottage was as expected from the VRBO website. However, upon arrival we had to clean the floors as there was a lot of dirt on them. The place was full of dust all around. We brought our own sheets and pillows and found the mattresses stained. "Quick weekend trip for a beach tournament. Location was 10-15min walking distance which was perfect for avoiding $20/day parking. Unit was clean - basic amenities there, based on other reviews I had packed extras incase and would recommend bringing your must haves or a quick trip to the dollar store maybe needed. This is a renovated trailer so hallways are tight, tight entrace area but for 2 adults & 1 teen it was great for a weekend."
