Pet Friendly - Escape in Cape May! 6 Blocks to the Beach!

Close to everything Cape May has to offer, everything you need for a great stay at the beach! Only a short 6 blocks to the beach and some of the wonderful bars/restaurants/shops, and a very short drive to everything else this amazing town offers! Pet friendly, with ample outdoor space - including a fenced in yard. There is also an outdoor shower, BBQ grill, and outdoor table for you to enjoy! Rent bikes, leave your car in the driveway, and enjoy an amazing beach vacation!
Leave your car in the driveway, rent some bikes and/or walk to everything Cape May has to offer! A short walk to the beach and amazing spots like Harry's. Or, an easy bike ride to the wonderful bars, shops, and restaurants in town. A quick car ride will get you to any of the other shore points - Wildwood, Ocean City, Avalon, etc and don't forget about the Cape May Zoo!
Incredibly clean 2 bedroom/2 bath, with everything you need! Generous living room with sectional sofa with electric recliners on the end. TV with access to streaming networks (high speed internet included!). A fully stocked kitchen with everything you need, and a washer/dryer as well!
There is 1 full bath in the halllway, adjacent to a bedroom with 1 queen bed, TV, closet, and work desk.
The primary bedroom has its own full bath with a standing closet and chest of drawers, as well as another TV.
Outdoor space includes both fenced in and not fenced in yard, outdoor shower, patio with table/chairs, and outdoor dining area as well.

Please note I do not be provide sheets or towels (you will need to bring bath and shower towels). Please bring sheets for the Queen beds, and whatever towels you may need. Or, I can recommend a rental service for you to use. I do provide pillows, pillow shams, and comforters as well as extra blankets.

This is Unit D - which is the rear left unit. Your parking space is the second from the left, labeled for Unit D.

Quiet and Comfortable Beach House

We love staying in Village Green. It’s the perfect neighborhood for our small family. The house was clean and comfortable with room to spare outside. And out of all the hydrangeas in Cape May, Giulia’s might have been the most beautiful! She was a responsive and helpful host. Definitely recommend!

Cozy with Easy Access to Cape May

Being situated on the back side of the home away from the road, the unit faces onto a grassy mall between homes. Quiet and clean it was a nice base getting to the hubs (shopping or beach) of Cape May.

Place is nice and clean all you need is there from room kitchen to bathroom but just bed we didnt sleep good because bed is slanting the floor slide from window ///(room2)without toilet ,room with toilet is fine only tiny or small can fit on toilet like my mother in law is okay she fits ...the rest is good and relax at porch

A Christmas Getaway

Being in Cape May at Xmas is always fun from the lights - to the music - to the restaurants and wineries - and this house just afforded my friend and I and furry family members the chance to kick back and relax in a perfect location, wonderful house and offered by gracious host. I hope to be back again.

Nice winter weekend

Had a nice stay with my wife and dog. Lots of walking and enjoying the local restaurants. House was clean and only thing we had issue with was lack of sheets and towels which maybe I missed but wasn’t told to us in the checkin communication. Minor inconvenience but happy to recommend and stay again if we are in the area.

Great location but needed a little TLC

This property is at a great location in Cape May, especially because it is 6 blocks from the beach and also several blocks from the local Wawa. I just feel with the amount of money I paid to stay there, the house could have been a little cleaner and user friendly. Upon my arrival there was only 1 dishtowel and no paper towels at all. I ended up having to use my washcloth to dry dishes my first night there. The dishwasher was clean, but full of dishes (I do not like unloading someone else's dishes on my vacay). I grabbed a spatula and there was someone else's caked food on it. The shower curtain in the main bathroom looked like it had some mold around the bottom of it (it is damp down the beach and mold is quick but it should be checked before visitors arrive). The outside shower was OK, but I don't think it has warm water which disappointed me (FYI to those traveling in cooler months) And the thermostat was set within a few degrees. The owner graciously let me know that she could change it if I needed a little bit of heat since it was cooler, but having to contact the owner to get to use the thermostat was unsettling. I usually make it cool at night and most people don't keep late hours to be available to adjust the temp. These are just my constructive criticisms and all easy fixes! Overall a cute place to stay and very convenient. I felt very safe there. GREAT water pressure in the indoor shower. Dog friendly with dog treats/supplies provided!

The vinyl fencing and porch railings needed hosing down and cleaning. We were not able to enjoy the porch as we hoped. Entering the house it smells like a wet dog, unfortunately. We had to roll up the area rugs in the living room and kitchen and the one bedroom as they were not clean. We did bring our own linens as instructed, and when we took the comforters off the beds, the mattress covers were stained and full of hair. We contacted the owner, and she said that she doesn’t always have time to come to the properties in between guests, but she would do the best she can, and did send the cleaning woman over again, but she had an odd story that she doesn’t touch the beds and could not do much about the floors. She did run a steam mop, but that also made it smell worse. The owner came with new mattress pads for us, and told us to put the old ones in trash bags for the garbage which we did, and we put them in the trash cans. Only going into this detail because upon leaving, we noticed that the owner came by and was carrying out the rolled up area rugs and putting them to the trash, so obviously, she felt the same about the lack of cleanliness with them, but then decided to tell us that we threw away her property by putting the old stained mattress covers in the trash. We cleaned the floors everyday and left the place smelling better than when we arrived. At the end of our stay, the owner responded “Oh well I have 4.8 stars”.

Great spot in amazing location

Our family of four really enjoyed our stay. Very clean and cozy property in wonderful Cape May. Walkable to the beach (6 blocks) and very convenient to everything else cape May has to offer. Quiet little spot close everything

Loved this little house apartment. Quiet porch, even with the little mother bird hanging by her empty nest. Didn't have a dog but it would have been perfect. Place was clean, quiet and perfect for a get away clise to fabulous restaurants and the beach. Thank you! Definitely will return

Amazing stay in perfect little house

We all had a wonderful day in the perfect little sized house by the beach in Cape May. It’s actually one of four attached units . Our location was on a quiet side street in the back. There was some construction going on at the time with some of the nearby homes that were getting ready for the summer rush, but not too intrusive. We especially appreciated the covered front porch area where we could spend some time when it was drizzling. A mom dove decided to take up residence right by our doorway so we were able to watch her and her little chicks. My dog especially loved the view outside the gate in which there was a steady stream squirrels and rabbits. Everything was appointed nicely with a beach theme and we felt quite comfortable.. On rainy days it was very helpful to have so many channels to choose from on TV. The host goes above and beyond to supply tea, coffee, etc. It was so nice to be able to let our dog out into the yard and have us feel safe as he was exploring inside the fence..Would definitely recommend.

A cozy gem

This cottage is one of four units on a quiet street with plenty of parking available. The unit was perfect for four adults and our two dogs, especially with the roomy porch area and the fenced-in yard. The units are fairly small but with a wonderfully efficient use of space which makes them very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay!

Cute, comfortable cottage

Our second time renting this comfortable cottage. Nice and clean, comfortable beds, host responded immediately when i had a question. Quiet neighborhood, nice fenced yard for our small dog. Will rent again if we return to Cape May.for our small dog.

A quiet getaway perfect for the two of us and our pup.

We were looking for a quiet getaway in November, and this one was perfect. The owner allowed our pet Border Collie, and the property had a fenced yard. Everything was clean and well-maintained. It was close to a large green space one block away for playing catch with our pup, and a short walk to the beach. We will certainly consider staying at this property in the future.

Family fun!

I traveled to Cape May with my 16yo son and his best friend. The residence was perfect for the 3 of us. We decided to not bring our dog, but when we saw the cute fenced yard regretted not bringing her. While the home has 4 separate rental units, ours was quiet and private. It's on a beautiful setting with mature trees and a walkway. Great getaway.
