“We had a lovely stay at Dormie House from 6th - 10 July. We had a room that was clean yet really small to be honest . There was no where to hang clothes, apart from two pegs to hang our coats on. That was a bit frustrating. Also painters came in on the second day and the strong smell of enamel paint permeated into our room ...it was awful , I ended up with a terrible headache and went down to reception to see if something could be done. “Right in town and incredibly comfortable and quiet. The room is big so it was great having the fireplace and later the reverse cycle, so a nice option in winter. Gunderoo is definitely small but it’s an excellent option if you want to stay out of Canberra for the night and the food options are great.”

“Arrived late and received a courtesy call from staff advising of parking options and entry instructions which were easy and efficient. Easy stroll to restaurants and supermarket for dinner and snacks. Pool looked so inviting, sad we didn’t bring our togs. Room was spacious and clean with a comfy bed.
