There's heaps to do in Asoke, but head farther afield and you'll find even more magic. Arrange a set of wheels and you can meander around the surrounding area at your own pace. Add these awesome destinations to your travel plan:

• Pattaya is roughly 60 miles from Asoke. Renowned tourist attractions like Buddha Mountain deserve to be at the top of your list here.
• Your next pit stop? It has to be Hua Hin, which is around 90 miles away. Hua Hin Railway Station is one local highlight you really shouldn't miss.
• Spend time in the outdoors and inhale the fresh air at Klong Plu Waterfall. It's 170 miles from Asoke.

If you don't hold a driver's license issued in Thailand, then you may need to acquire an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence to be allowed to rent a car. It's also important to note that if an IDP is required, it has no validity on its own. You'll be asked to show your current license your passport and other forms of documentation as well.
