There are so many adventures to be had in Escandon, but venture farther afield and you'll find more sightseeing magic. Grab a set of wheels and you can wander around the surrounding area at your own pace. Add these awesome drives to your itinerary:

• You'll find Cuauhnahuac Regional Museum and many other amazing attractions in Cuernavaca. From Escandon, it's approximately 35 miles away.
• Roughly 65 miles away, Puebla is also a hit with wanderers. Make sure you check out Africam Safari while you're in town. It's one of the reasons people love visiting this city.
• Head to La Ropa Beach to rediscover nature. Pack a picnic to enjoy or just relax and unwind. From Escandon, it's approximately 200 miles away.

If you don't have a driver's license issued in Mexico, then it's likely you'll need to get an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country to be allowed to rent a car.
