When you've visited all of the interesting places in Miramar, there's plenty more to see in the surrounding region. Grab the keys to a rental car, stow your bags in the trunk and hit the open road. These are some road trips we think you'll enjoy:

• You'll find Cuauhnahuac Regional Museum and loads more interesting sights in Cuernavaca. From Miramar, it's about 35 miles away.
• Located 70 miles away, Puebla is also a hit with wanderers. Allow time to check out Africam Safari while you're in town. It's one of the reasons people love coming to this city.
• Get into the outdoors and take in the serenity at La Ropa Beach. You'll find it roughly 200 miles from Miramar.

If you don't possess a driver's license issued in Mexico, then you may need to acquire an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence in order to rent a car. It's also important to note that if an IDP is required, it has no validity on its own. You'll have to show your current license your passport and other forms of ID as well.
