When you've covered all the well-known sights in Sanremo Old Town, there's plenty more to explore in the surrounding region. Grab the keys to a rental car, throw your luggage in the trunk and get going. These are some road trips we know you'll love:

• Make your way to Genoa for an excellent sightseeing adventure. Approximately 70 miles from Sanremo Old Town, it's home to lots of great sights like Aquarium of Genoa.
